Currently, North America is the most significant global market shareholder and is anticipated to hold a 44.5% market share during the forecast period.

In Asia-Pacific, the expansion of access to sophisticated cosmetic treatments and the rise in beauty consciousness are the primary factors driving this market surge. “The availability of thread lifts is being increased by the proliferation of medical retreats and aesthetic clinics, contributing to an increasing demand for non-surgical procedures in the region,” the research stated.

“For example, the Asia-Pacific region is being substantially positioned as a key growth region due to the significant contributions of China’s expanding aesthetic industry and growing middle-class population to market growth” the report stated.

A separate finding stated that there are some key challenges facing the cosmetic threads market. These include high cost of procedures, stringent regulations, and the risk of complications associated with cosmetic thread lifting. Currently, “the regulations governing the cosmetic threads market vary by region, but generally, they are subject to approval by regulatory bodies such as the FDA in the US and the CE mark in Europe,” the research said.

Further, the factors that may hinder the growth of the cosmetic threads market include availability of alternative non-invasive procedures, the risk of adverse events, and the lack of reimbursement policies for cosmetic thread lifting. However, “consumer perception is evolving positively, with an increasing acceptance of non-surgical aesthetic procedures and a growing focus on natural-looking results,” the research said.

As early as last year, Italy’s Menarini, the largest Italian biopharmaceutical firm in the world and a global leader in dermatology and aesthetics solutions made an expansion in Indian market as Menarini India Private Limited. The company expanded its extensive line of fillers and threads from RELIFE, a division of the Menarini group, by introducing “Definisse® Core Filler” to India, demonstrating its dedication to ongoing innovation and meeting the specific demands of Indian consumers, a report by ETHealthworld said.
